Guest meeting at Chalong Pier. Weather and sea check, loading water, ice, snorkeling gear and towels, short captain briefing.

Boarding the longtail. Stowing belongings in the bow, dry bag for electronics. Best seats are closer to the centre for a softer ride.

Transfer from Chalong toward Racha Yai. Passing Koh Lon, water becomes noticeably clearer; the first reefs appear.
